Kewell had a very good game, was a class above the rest.

Showed some neat touches, his link up play was excellent and it was a beautiful header for the goal.

I for one hope he can get his career back on track with another team.

he arrived out of form from leeds
did score a few in the first few months but after that basically **** all
he will end his career thinking what might of been
imo he is similar to ickle mikey he puts country over club
i wont be two faced about it he has had bundles out of our club and to me given **** all back - not his fault he was injured agreed but not one you would want in the trenches. i can imagine the face on carra after telling he "felt a twinge" during a game and wanted off.

He was Leeds best player in his last season there by a mile. He was injured late in the season but came back and scored a cracker against Arsenal in the second last game of the season.

In his last game for Leeds he played with his hair coloured Red.

The Leeds fans knew he was going and never really bonded with Kewell, surprisingly. He was still their best player in 02-03 and your right, the Kewell threads will dry up thankfully.

Dennis Skinner

Local to where I grew up, he was, although Tony Benn was our MP. I saw Skinner a few times at the local train station. He often sported some lovely tweed.

Great growing up in a socialist town.

A proper politician, him. Represented the people, stuck to his principles. Not like these ****s to day that will milk the system for self-gain, switch principles on the basis of opinion polls and represent corporates more so than the electorate.
