Kewell has often come across as a lazy **** though so i can see why some fans would say that, he always looked a tad overweight and i'll go out on a limb and say i wouldn't think he'd be giving 100% in training.

I dont think he was training very much and that would have made him a tad overweight.

To be fair, he looks like he has been training well and looks quite good for Australia. However, that said, his ankle is shot and he cant play a full game anymore, and cant beat players down the outsied with his pace anymore, which is what we need a winger to do.

As for his lazyness, i too think he has been a tad lazy in his defending and gives up very easily if a ball is played to him that he cant get.

He still has a very sharp football brain and would do well at a club like fulham, he is not a top 4 team player anymore.

His performance in the match you refer to was nothing short of awesome. It's a shame that for whatever reason he couldn't produce something similar when turning out for us.

The enigma that is Harry Kewell.

I was chuffed to bits when he joined us and up until last season still had hopes that he would come good.

We can't blame him for his injuries and it's unfair if any fan does so however I can also see why people think he's put his country before his club. Rafa gave him chance after chance but because of a mixture of injuries and poor form he left him down.

Good luck Harry in whatever you do I'm glad however that you are off our wage bill.

Ohh FFS. Can't we finish talking about ****ing Kewell. The prat has finally ****ed off now coz a pay-you-play deal wasn't good enough for him. Move on now, good riddance.
Some of us think his conduct has been atrocious (particularly the last 5 months )and some will defend him till the death regardless. Whats the point?
