      Getting back on topic.

Hicks also feels that Mackintosh's experience in relocating City to the City of Manchester Stadium could be a benefit.

I don't really think this is Hicks's main reason for wanting this guy at the club.

Hicks wants to get rid of Parry and install a stooge who will vote that way he tells him to.

How much did 'tosh pay for Benjani and Samaras? Is he that much of an improvement on Parry.
On the plus side he could know of loopholes Johnson and Richards' contracts.

Parry wont go until the mess is sorted out IMO. He cant be sacked without Gillett's go ahead...which wont happen

Is there a possibility that Parry could be relieved of his duties as CEO, but still keep his place on the board?

Why is it automatically assumed that this new Hicks appointment would have a place on the board? Could he not fulfil the duties that Parry has been failing at without taking a seat?

Why would he want to take a sideways or lesser role at a new club? I think it might be a case of Hicks trying to engineer some support in the Boardroom and break up the oppostion.

Money makes the world go round...and besides, it's a step up going from City to Liverpool, even if he isn't given a seat on the board initially.

Still think it's a bollocks story tho, was just throwing out the option that Parry could be relieved of his duties as regards to transfers and marketing etc, with that role going to A.N. Other, and yet keep his place on the board....thus giving us a competent money man, and keeping the status quo at board level?

Hicks has no place calling anyone a failure with his record so far at LFC. As for this city fella getting us good commercial deals, it wasn't so long ago that we were told that the new guy, Ayres was the dogs, Hick's problem with Parry imo is personal, in that he wont fall into line, the Hicks line that is.

Again he is stirring up the **** in the board room & the club, acting like he's the only one with an opinion, the only one with the power, he proves again what a disgusting little man he is.

My colleague works for BPN and is doing the PR for Dr T and Man City. He's passed me some great snippets about the good Dr. I tell you boys, we had a lucky escape with this one.
They've won the league, bigger stars than Dallas, they've got more silver than Buckhingham Palace, no one knows quite what to expect, when the Red Machine's in full effect!

Personally with this news and the Hicks PR campaign being revved up again I am bracing myself for a Hicks takeover.

Don't worry, Gillett gave us his word, his WORD, that he would never sell to Hicks. We're safe from that threat.
