We have a very kind end of season run of fixtures.

Unfortunately we'll probably we out of contention before the new year so they'll possibly not be very important at the end of the day.

i booked my wedding about 2 years ago and picked the 23rd may 2009 as it had no chance of interfering with any football at all. now it is in the season. i have the honeymoon suite in the hotel for 2 nights though so at least i will be able to wake up the day after my wedding and lounge round till the game is on
      in january we were doomed.

in august we will rise from the ashes of ****e and march on again

I read that all 6 of their games after CL fixtures were away from home...

Perhaps this will put an end to the idea that the draw is somehow fixed in their favour.

The fact is every team could look at their fixtures and find things they don't like. Man United do seem to have come off badly this time though.

As for the idea whether we play home or away on the first game of the season can influence our final position in the league -
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Perhaps it's just the FA's way of getting back at them after Fergie and Queeras got let off their disrepute charge...coincidence?? I don't think so.

              I do.

Imagine the fallout if it ever emerged the FA had fixed the fixture computer in the way you suggest. Do you seriously think someone would do that over something as petty as Ferguson and Queiroz acting like babies?

Meanwhile, back in the real world , if people high up in the FA want to get them back they'll find another way that carries far, far less risk, if any at all.
