We aren't exactly the only big Premiership team not to have made an "exciting signing" yet. In fact, other than the Chavs splashing £16m on Bosingwa, have the others made any at all? Just hold your horses until the Euros are over.

You are of course right. If I was honest I admit to thinking the same, even though I am slowly getting used to the yanks sticking around, for some reason I just cant see DIC getting power anytime soon, if ever.

i think every liverpool supporter everywhere wants a big signing, as do the players, as does the manager.

my theory:

i think that the american owners see the marketing potential and hype that 20 mill plus players reep (ala torres). therefore, i believe we will have one big signing and barry before the transfer window is over,

i think that our potential signing (no idea who it is) is involved in the euros and serious stuff will start when that is over or they get knocked out. its just my gut feeling.

Rafa said he wants quick buys in the market and not to mess around, i think he would have spoken out if he was not being backed, and maybe even walked out. i believe rafa has been told he would have money, he is not the type of manager to hang around with no possibility of winning the prem if not being backed (i,.e. valencia)

anyone have similar thoughts?

I'm sorry if I'm being depressing guys but you can see where I'm coming from. It's just ****e, I know that when the Euro's will be over something will no doubt happen but we're never linked with anyone of real quality on a constant basis (Torres excluded).

It's like no one wants to sign for us. I know that money's a big factor and all for a footballer these days but just watching the Euro's and seeing some of the players on show and who they play for, the likes of Sneijder et al...Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd!!!

**** me man, we've been in the Champions League final twice in the last 3 years, why can't we attract big singings!!!???

And what the **** is going on with DIC. I just wish that either H&G would come out and say something or DIC just buy the club.
