We will be battling with the likes of Man City, Everton, Aston Villa, Spurs etc for fourth place next season.

Unless something drastic happens during the summer.

I don't think Arsenal will be any stronger than last year, in fact at the minute I would say it is likely they will be weaker without Flamini, so at the very least I think you should add them to your list.

I'm tired of everyones pessimism. The top four where far above the rest of the division last year and none of the rest have substantially strengthen yet and neither have the top two. In fact some of the previous few seasons top players in Drogba and Ronaldo look likely to leave.

I feel quietly optimistic but I would like to see what changes are made by all teams. I think people need to be a bit more relaxed. If we haven't seen an improvement in the squad/team when the season starts then is the time to worry.

I doubt any big deals will happen until after the Euros so why not just enjoy them for now and see how things play out?

                Spot on

If (& that's a big IF) we had a good summer's recruitment drive we could definitely close the gap somewhat.

Chelsea will spend silly money no doubt but Drogba will go and they have been heavily dependant on him. Looks like Carvalho may go also and he will be missed every bit as much so I don't expect them to hit the ground running with a new team trying to gel together

Similarly if Ronaldo goes Utd will replace him with some big name players but their whole way of playing was set up around him so they will have to adjust

Arsenal also unusually look as though there will be quite a bit of movement with Flamini already gone and Adeboyor & Hleb apparantly on their way.

I think in recent years we have had the most changes in personell during teh summer and it has worked against us & effected our starts to teh campaign, however this year I think for different reasons everyone is going to be in the same boat

It's like no one wants to sign for us. I know that money's a big factor and all for a footballer these days but just watching the Euro's and seeing some of the players on show and who they play for, the likes of Sneijder et al...Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd!!!

**** me man, we've been in the Champions League final twice in the last 3 years, why can't we attract big singings!!!???

And what the **** is going on with DIC. I just wish that either H&G would come out and say something or DIC just buy the club.
who cares who we are linked to? I could not care less.. its all about who we sign

I think we should stay away from any French rising stars!
