anyone who says eto'o doesn't track back hasn't watched eto'o, he is one of the hardest working players going.

...however, suggestions he may distrupt team spirt can't be dismissed.

Far better to have him on the pitch then

Etoo is cheaper. But i would take either into our squad. Would be a vast improvement on Voronin and Crouch

Etoo is still 27 and has lot left in him yet

Either would be a big improvement on what we have to partner torres at the moment - if I had to pick it would be Villa. I think Etoo could be disruptive given reports from Spain and I would also wonder if he would demand extravagent wages too.

It's like saying do you want to shag Angelina Jolie or Cheryl Tweedy.
Either would be great but it isn't going to friggin happen any time soon

i'd go for villa, over the last couple of years eto'o has had a few bad injuries and they could have a long term effect.
                who's arsed?

I would go for Eto'o because:

                  1. IMO he's the better player
                  2. He can easily play out wide (left or right) in a 4-2-3-1 system like Babel does
                  3. Some people says he's disruptive, I say he doesn't take any **** and he calls things how he sees it. All the reports that I hear about his mouth/attitude is not that he was wrong for saying things (about racism, lazy teamates, preferential treatment etc.) but about how and when he said it.

That said either player would be fantastic

2 yrs ago if someone had of mentioned Eto'o possible joining us you'd have thought they were mad. Can't see him as a Rafa type player though can you???????
Eto'o almost joined for a straight swap with Owen when he went to Madrid.... the only thing that scuppered it at the time was Eto'o came out publically and stated that he wanted to go to Barca..... had Barca not been in for him, then we'd have go Madrid's half of the player for Owen and then bought Mallorca's half for 8m or so....

                      I'm with Kemm.

Etoo every single time. In fact Etoo when fit is still the best striker in world football imo. He is the complete striker. He's pacey, has great ball control/technique, can score with either foot and is decent in the air. And for those who say he's lazy....well they're talking ****e and clearly haven't watched how hard he works for Barca.
