To be perfectly honest i'm getting a bit fed with the goings on at the club in terms of lack of fund being made available, show some ****ing ambition like lesser teams such as Spurs do. I know money's tight with the new stadium needing to be funded etc but surely the board realise we're not gonna have a title winning team to take to the field in the new stadium??
You have to worry when it seems that we have to offload good players like Crouch and Benayoun to raise funds, two very valuable and important players in the squad.
One an international striker with a superb goals to game ratio for both club and country in the last couple of years and the other a well respected player across Europe for many years who has only had one ****ing season with us and in that season he's done more than well enough if you ask me.
I know it's very early days in the summer but i'm starting to get majorly ****ed off with all these stories coming out of lack of transfer funds and needing to sell qualiy players in the current squad.

That would be Spurs who have made one signing - Modric and have been linked with everyone in the world and the sale of their best player. I really think some perspective is needed here. I'm not seeing overwhelming ambition in these moves, or any change from previous years where Tottenham have a decent amount of money to spend but struggle to attract top names.

So far very few purchases have been made by anyone and only someone with a very selective memory would say we aren't linked with top players such as Villa and Silva or expensive ones such as Barry and Bentley. We had the exact same stories last year and ended up with Benayoun, Lucas, Babel, Mascherano and Torres. I think it is only sensible to at least wait for the transfer window to open before getting ourselves worked up about this.
