Great ball from Lucas I think, Yossi is right in behind, cuts it back to Pacheco but he is slow to react, comes back to Yossi who picks out Leto but his drive is wide across goal.

PAcheco tried to control the ball instead of taking a shot, cost a possible goal.

Nice run by Leto, skips past a couple, final ball is not great but then again no real aerial target in the box.

He's tricky but quite slow. I'm still unsure about him. He does looklike he's bulked up a little since I last saw him play for us.

Like Leto. His end product needs to improve and, as has been said, he isn't the quickest but his touch, skill and dribbling ability are all excellent.

What are you basing it on then? He hardly played last season, and when he did for the reserves he often stood out.

He was in a few games for the first team. I also watched him a little before he came to Liverpool. Not HEAPS mind you, but enough to get a slight idea. I mean if I was a Liverpool scout, he's one name I wouldnt of mentioned.

Anyway, I have been impressed with our attacking play. Defensively, we can only improve. Both our full backs have been caught a few times with the cross field switch ball. Degen looks like Finnan but can't cross. Leto looks like the player who played in the reserves. He seems calm, intelligent at times but his fitness really does need to improve if he wants a shot at playing for the first team. Pacheco looks good in glimpses however he looked shot of confidence soon as he missed the one on one chance. I, like Pat Nevin, have been impressed with Voronin (he seems to only perform in pre-season, so it seems) and Benayoun.

Well our scouts, obviously felt differently. As does Rafa. Yeah he was in the first team for a few games, he wasn't exactly terrible. Apart from the Marseille game but then everyone was
