I agree he has a good touch however for a winger, which he is, it is essential to have pace so you can get into better positions on the pitch in order to supply the attack.

I never said our team will never win a game. Just described the playstyle. Besides, they SHOULD be going all out in preseason. These are the reserves. You stake your place in the first team by how well you play in competitive matches. I expect more from them especially considering who they're playing.

Perhaps though, they should be playing in a style that shows Rafa they are ready to fit into his system as he would want. To be honest, I'm always very scared about the seaosn ahead when we play really well in pre-season. I remember Cheyrou looking like a world beater

Don't think pace is essential unless you need it to make up for a lack of skill.
