I found some of it interesting, his insight in to the psyche of a striker was good, also the one touch/two touch passing etc was good.Originally posted by looprevil View PostOn a side note, Dean Saunders commentary was just truly excrutiatingly embarasssingly pish.
He was however taking the game too seriously, but hey it was WELL boring, I nodded off in the first half
We come not to play.

why dont we just call him Phil ?Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostOkay - pronunciation.
Surely it's 'Degg-en'? The commentator last night called him 'Déjan' FFS.
It's not 'Dee-gen', is it? Surely 'Degg-en'?[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

He is the worst of a very poor lot in terms of current TV co-comentator/analysts.Originally posted by looprevil View PostOn a side note, Dean Saunders commentary was just truly excrutiatingly embarasssingly pish."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

lets give him a chance before labelling him ****. He's only played a couple of pre-season warm up games and im sure he's been knackered before he played them both due to training.Originally posted by sevennilphil View PostWhat about '**** Phil'
Has a certain ring.
He's not daniel alves or even a younger steve finnan but im sure he will add something to us.
Even if it is just another couple of million in the bank next season.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

I found his commentry quite interesting too. And on a side-note, my mate has just finished a coaching course that Dean Saunders and Ian Rush were on, and my mate said that Saunders was one of the best coaches he has ever worked with, and that Rush was absolutely terrible. Just goes to show that great players dont always make great coaches.Originally posted by Imy View PostI found some of it interesting, his insight in to the psyche of a striker was good, also the one touch/two touch passing etc was good.
