      I think he said that Paletta was likely to be a good player but would have benefitted from spending another couple of years in Argentina. Can't argue with that really.

      Vickery generally seems well-informed on all things South American and comes over as pretty objective on the whole. Not saying he's right about Cavalieri, mind, but he's probably seen more of him than most.
