I dont buy into this Arbeloa very versatile thing. Any time I've seen him at LB or CB he's been ****e.

Quite a good RB though and we need smething as good to replace him.

Im not sure that Finnans got it any more and Degen doesnt exactly inspire confidence.

Must be some truth in it then. Finnan will have to stay on for another season and pick his game up, unless we get a replacement in very quickly.

First game Arbeloa ever played in a Liverpool shirt he played Left back against Messi in the Nou Camp and owned him.

He's not great at centre back, but he's just as good at left back as he is on the right.

Tis true. I'm not sure that he's any worse on the left than on the right, defensively.

I guess I can understand the price. If England had won the Euros, anyone in the England squad would fetch silly money from English teams.
