yea i suppose so, and if rafa rates him that much then its good enough for me. im still a tad uneasy about the whole deal but i usually am when we buy british strikers- was pissed off when we signed Bellamy and crouch- and they both did well (bellamy was worth whatever we paid for the goal against barca)

I think Babel can fill one of those slots in terms of being as good as a new major signing, I think he will be explosive this season, expecting big things. In Torres, Keane, Babel, Benayoun and Gerrard we look lethal, goals from all angles

But this afternoon has been hard work simply because everywhere I look I see threads about Robbie Keane this, Robbie Keane that, ****ing hell the guy hasnt even signed for us yet! And it seems that there is more hype over us signing him than there has been over any other player EVER! ****ing hell this is the same robbie keane that went to inter all those years ago, that has a decent record in the prem, that plays for ****ing tottenham hotspur. Im not trying to be a miserable cunt here but I fail to see how robbie keane is going to transform us into premiership winners. Our standards as supporters have dropped so much over the past decade its ****ing untrue.
