    Boyhood Liverpool fans

Keane is the latest.. but the most recent "boyhood reds" I can think of were Kewell, Bellamy and Pennant..
Have there been any recent childhood fans who didn't turn out a let down?

The dubs/Irish are different. Just like the fans actually from liverpool as, for example, pennant no doubt has another team from where he grew up who were his REAL team, whereas over here, this generation grew up supporting either UTD or LFC ( a few exceptions but not many!).

Plus the flops you mentioned are all lazy arseholes, keano gives 100% every game winning or losing, that's why the spurs fans love him so much. that and his genuine quality of course!

Carra once said (can't remember who about) that there were all lifelong LFC fans when they sign

Well he's a quality player, so let's hope he follows in Aldo's footsteps!

um i know Pennant was signed by Wenger when he was at Notts County, but I do remember reading back then that he was a LFC fan and would love to play for us one day.

I do remember Bellemy saying he was a reds fan, but werent there some doubs about the validity of that comment?

                      Ngog.

"Liverpool were my English team – I supported PSG in France – and I love this club.

Isn't he lucky, to play for both clubs he supports so soon in his career.

Referee Lubos Michel said: “If my assistant referee had not signalled a goal, I would have given a penalty, and sent off goalkeeper Petr Cech.”
