    Anyone worried for Reina?

Bit strange that Cavalieri's started most of the pre-season games. I think his place might be under threat.

    What does everyone reckon?

I think he is just trying to get Cavalieri settled so if he called upon he will be ready to play and will know the players he will have in front of him.

I hope so, I've got Reina in my fantasy football league this year!

Is that a wind up? Matt is right, and Pepe is very very much our 1st choice keeper.

Pepe will be our starter, don't worry about it. If not Cavalieri must have shown himself to be one of the best in the world. So don't worry about it.

Reina only stopped playing football just over a month ago and has a great relationship with the defence, Calvieri needs to develop one, ever thought that is why Benitez is making sure all 4 centerbacks get similar amount of time each on the pitch. No one player seems to be dominating the position in preseason with more minutes on the pitch.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

                  This is the correct answer.

Cavalieri is learning English and what better place for him to use those English phrases like 'Mine' or 'Leave' than on a football pitch?

                    What he said.

                    Pepe IS numero uno.

i'm not in the slightest bit worried for reina.

                        1. reina is possibly the best shot stopper in the EPL
                        2. reina has the best distribution from a goalkeeper i have ever seen......seriously.
                        3. as good as cavalieri has looked, he seems very worried to have the ball at his feet and his distribution needs a lot of work
                        4. the only down side to reina might be his failure to convincingly deal with crosses - not catchhing where he could and poor punches - yet cavalieri seems just as "continental" with his crosses as reina

reina's position as number 1 in the team is safe but i do beleive in cavalieri (who will defo improve a great deal as a keeper here with us) we now have a keeper to put proper pressure on reina - unlike itandje!
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Not in the slightest bit worried about Reina. At least now we have some decent back-up. Reina will be getting worried though if his form dips during the season.

It looks like we finally have some decent backup for Reina in Cavalieri. I appreciate the Spanish lads are a bit further behind the others in terms of fitness due to the Euros, but I'd have thought Reina would have started tonight's game.

Do you think he's worried himself? I was looking at him before and he didn't seem confident, he had a worried expression on his face almost. I hope he stays as the numero uno, Pepe's class.

He ended up getting more game time than Cavallieri tonight by a few minutes. I like the way Rafa has done it, Reina knows the defence, they know him, so let the other goalie get used to them because we might end up needing him at some point.
