Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make them water. It's more useful

Yep cant argue with any of the above.

Pepe already knows the centre halves inside out and he's not had much time off recently. His missus has also just had a kid so Pepe could be forgiven for not having his mind completely on football.

He's giving Cavallieri a chance to settle in and get used to how Rafa wants him to play, to get to know his defence etc. Reina knows this already and is just being rested because he (and the rest of the spanish players) got back late into training due to the Euros. Reina will be our first choice

Pepe is a certain nr 1, and can't see that changing even though he hasen't played much in the preseason matches.

As people mention is most proberly comes down to him being part of the spanish squad all the way to the final, and furthermore our new goalie needs a bit of practice with his new defence, whereas pepe is settled with them!

Cavalieri is learning English and what better place for him to use those English phrases like 'Mine' or 'Leave' than on a football pitch?
Im sure theres a rule saying you cant say mine or leave it to anyone on your team so hopefully he doesnt.

Theres no doubt that Pepe is still no1. Its better that Cavalieri gets some games now while its unimportant and gets to know the first team players better rather than later in the season should Pepe get injured and we need Cavalieri and all he knows is the lads hes been playing with in the reserves.

i think its a great plan that rafa is following,we all know what pepe can do.but by giving cavalieri games behind all the defenders they will all get to know each other,so there shouldn't be any nerves between keeper and defenders when we get to the league cup and maybe f.a cup games.

Ive posted it elsewhere but I get the feeling that Pepe will be sold at the end of the season. I have no real basis for this but its a nagging feeling and Im pretty much always right

Anyway, I love Pepe and he wil have another great season for us im sure so lets wait and see. Im glad the brazilian looks pretty steady mind, nice to have a good backup.

No chance imo. He loves it here...it would have to be 100% Rafa's choice and I think Rafa loves him

To be fair Reina has always said that one day he will go back to Spain to play. From my understanding Pepe has never planned on staying at Liverpool for a long time. For now though im sure he sees that we are building something special and he is key to it so he will be happy to stay. For now

As far as I'm aware those type of quotes were attributed to him soon after he joined, our club gets under your skin, I'd be amazed if Reina were to leave before Rafa does, amazed.

& probably the only time he will ever get to understand Jamie Carragher!
