I'd blame the CM. The service into the forwards was basically long balls from Carra and Agger. Xabi and Plessis should have had control of the game and pushing through to Keane et al as and when there was an overload.

Kuyt, Torres, Benni and Keane were feeding off of scraps and trying to make their own openings.
