We've barely managed to string 3 passes together. Hate so say it but Alonso looks back to his old self, really struggling as they are closing him down the second he gets the ball. A lot to ask of Plessis in this game too.

Leige have been brilliant at closing us down so far, they've clearly done their homework. The big lad up front for them is a beast too.

Our full backs need to stop pumping the ball forward every time they get it, I thought that would stop once we sold Riise

Yeah, the passing has been poor all round sadly. why people think a load of pace will help I don't know, where they would run into I have no idea because there is no space. We need to slow it down and we need to start to pass with a lot more accuracy.

Liege have only struggled when Nando has pulled out wide and used his quick feet and control to drive at the team. He's won a number of free-kicks that way.

Hes meant to be the playmaker rage, but hes not been on the ball enough, he should have been the calm head out there, but he's been anything but. Maybe im demanding a lot from him, but Xabi's a much much better player than this.
