We don`t need wingers if Dossena,Degen,Arbeloa,Aurelio and Insua do their jobs as wing backs.

They are fullbacks. It's a sad state when the fullbacks have to provide the width. League wingers every year have goalscoring wingers. Ronaldo got 42 last year and Robben/Duff/Cole all scored regularly when Chelsea were winning. We dont need wingers

You are that confident that Scolari can hit the ground running?

I can see how Grant did OK, he basically left alone and played the Mourinho team. Scolari, though seems like he's gonna mix things up and really try and play the Manure way.

I'd be suprised if he got it right first time.

Come on, just about all the top 4 teams get their width from the full backs. And Ronaldo is hardly a winger in the traditional sense, he's an inside forward in the same way that Babel is. Quaresma is a real "winger".

He`s not starting of with a mid table team.He`s got world class all over the pitch.All he needs to do is change what Grant did wrong(Losing in a penalty shoot out in the CL and pushing Manpoo to the very last day of the season) which wasn`t much TBH.

Do they get goals from them? Wes Brown got a few headers last year. Clichy never scores and Sagna got one , Evra is the same as is cole and Ferreira.

Wing backs are designed to assist goals not score them from the wings.Dossena will put his fair share of crosses on Torres head this season,something Riise was getting worse and worse at.

And always bottle it with 15 games to go.I`m still not convinced with Walcott and Nasri might/might not be up to PL standard.We`ll see soon.
