Could we still attract the best managers?

IF IF IF Rafa ever leaves, do you think we could attract the very best managers given the circus at the club? I mean the likes of Rijkaard, Mourinho, Hiddink etc? You may or may not agree with the names but you get what I am asking?

I think LFC could attract any manager in the world.

    As do i.

We will never have a problem attracting the very best managers because of who we are and also the fact that we havent won the league for so bloody long.

Personally if i were a top manager it would attract me because of the challenge.

So yes, absolutely we could attract the very best if it becomes necessary.

Definitely. Premiership is more attractive now. We've got a better team than we've had in quite a while - I can't think of any reasons for a manager not to want to come to us that weren't there before.

depends on the financial constraints put on them. Certain managers would demand a certain transfer kitty

I don't think boardrooms bother managers that much, otherwise nobody would take the Madrid or Barcelona job. I think Rafa has to take credit for improving our image in Europe though, without a doubt. I think any Spanish manager would love to come here as would most managers.

whether people rate him or not mourinho would come running. now more than ever in recent times we'd attract the big names, especially because of the european success and the quality of players in our squad.

Any Manager would jump at the chance to join this club. The Circus will not be in town too long I hope.

if rafa were to go, and eventually he will, i do hope that one from his staff takes over, because i think that as a club we are going in the right direction, and bringing in a completly new man to take over, would most likely mean a complete rehaul of the club structure(meaning scouting department, youth system etc.), not to mention every manager has his own style of play which would mean more money would have to be spent on players he would prefer.

if i'm not mistaken, shankly had bob paisley and joe fagan, amongst his staff when he started, and we all know how succesful they both were.

so i'd go with either sammy lee, pellegino, or gary ablett

Let's worry about it then, eh?

To your point about maintaining the infrastructure Rafa has established, I think we will go down the Director of Football route and replace Rafa with someone who is purely a coach (and a yes man, of course).

99% of managers would come, the likes of Fergie and Wenger wouldn't though.
                          We come not to play.

hmm, dunno about Wenger,if his contract was expiring and we offered him the job he may just take up the challenge.
As for Rashids question-yes of course we could attract the biggest managers. We are a massive club with a hug reputation and status in world football. The Prem league is the biggest league in the world and we have some of the finest players around (both at our Club and in the league) the challenge of coming here would have every manager salavating.

The Most Decorated English Club in the Most Prestigious League? They would come running, it's a huge challenge.
