Jesus, welcome back. Thats bollocks of the highest order mate, neither player is consistent enough to be/to have been a long term liverpool first team player and i cant see how anyone would say Garcia isnt fit to lace yossis boots?!

Garcia was in a league of his own when it comes to being infuriating to watch. He's was risk taking player, someone who's willing to try the audacious and prepared to get it wrong. That kind of player will grab the headlines but he was also a pain in the neck. Jossi doesn't have the flair of lil Luis but, given a run in the team, he will learn and evolve his game which was something that Garcia just couldn't do, regardless how many games in a row he was given. Asked on balance who I'd rather rely on week in week out and it would be Jossi. His ego is much more in check too

wtf? When was the last time Yossi made it on to the list for the top 50 footballers in Europe?

Yossi is a sound option to have on the bench but he's hardly God's gift, is he?

I agree with the other posters who say he's better starting on the right side.

If we had the money to replace Yossi we would.

true, and to be fair to yossi i do see that he can do a job and is a much better option than say pennant, but if we could afford to replace him we would

Crap down the wings, but behind the striker in a 4-5-1 is where he is best. He knows how to open a defence with a 1-2 or how to thread a pass a'la Mcmanaman.

Good option if Gerrard is out or played wide.

His technical ability is head and shoulders above 99% of the squad, those who say he is garbage know nothing...IMHO.

He's more like Smicer than Garcia.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He should be a definate start for everyone except the top 6 as he looks a little out of his depth when he's facing a good team. However for everyone else, he's the man.

He's also our best squad player but. I don't think even Gerrard could do a better job of spending half his life on the bench without his head dropping, and still looking fit and ready the instance he comes on.

The one game Yossi has played his best position; in the hole (behind Crouch) at the Emirates last season he was excellent. He's not a left winger. He'd offer ten times Dirk's product if given a run on the right, but he won't be given that opportunity.

He scored both his hat tricks from Dirk's position did he not?
