The whole of our midfield struggled today… but we won. Be happy for a change
    Another MASSIVE game

Oh he was poor. He was the culprit for our goal conceded, giving the ball away to Mido. It's a team game anyway and anyone in the team should bear the responsibility for this poor performance.

He wasn't the only one. Benayoun and Kuyt are ****ing awful, we simply can't play all three at the same time otherwise we will get punished against better opposition.

I always think that when i see him play, worries me that he still looks nervous this many games in.

Not just the goal but a number of last ditch challenges kept us in the game

They are starting to get a winning mentality as well. In years past they'd either be drawing or losing and they played like they weren't concerned by the result. This time there was a bit more urgency to their game when they were looking for the win.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Because of where Xabi plays though, if he gives it away, it's almost certainly a counter attack on our goal. The Mido goal being a case in point.

Exactly why we needed Mascher today.

Hey I just noticed on football365 that they have credited Carragher's goal to a Pogatetz own goal. Anyone know anything about this?

That shows why Xabi's not a proper defensive midfielder, he's just a midfielder who plays from deep

Come on mate, bash Alonso another day. Today we got a win we didnt look like we'd get. Cheer up.

Besides it was Arbeloa's fault for the goal. He started moving towards Mido and then decided to run away from him. Thats why he had so much time on the ball.

Im not going to start on Xabi today. We won and were top of the league. True champions battle for points and we have battled and got 6 out of 6 without really dominating. Im confident that once we have Mascher, Lucas and Babel back 100% and in the first team then we will start playing better and winning games comfortably. When you don't play, JUST ****ING WIN, its all that matters

I mentioned it earlier mate, probably because Carra's shot was off target or something like that.
