Did not see the game (fat chance) but I believe Alonso gave the ball away and they scored. The guy has clearly got a lot going on in his head these days so it's no real surprise he's Jekyl and Hyde (or whathever). 6 points from 2 games and 2 iffy performances - I'll take that at this stage of the season Let's hope we can keep it up

I thought Kuyt was muck today. He may have won the ball back a couple of times when we lost it. He was bought as a striker, but didn't do the business there. Now he is playing on the right wing. He looks totally out of position. No pace to get passed the full backs. No creativity to play through balls to the strikers. Overall his technical ability is pretty poor.

I know Pennant is not rated either, but at least he has some pace and can get a cross in. Surely, he could be a better option until we get somebody decent for the right wing???

I had a ****e day.Missed my target at work for the 1st time in a few months.
Got attacked in a shopping centre by a looney English man for not putting my hand over my mouth when yawning.heard on a radio we were getting beat 1-0 after 85 minutes,didn`t want to hear any more.
Came home,opened a tin of Heineken and switched on my computer.

**** me,two goals in 8 minutes to win and go top of the league.
Now I`m having a GREAT evening.

I like the prospect of Barry for Alonso however I think he was responsible for one of the Stoke goals.

Agree. He's not great but at least he offers some variety and width.
