Dare to Dream folks dare to dream. Two games in and two very very valuable 6 points, quite possibly 5 points more than we would have had in previous seasons. A combination of luck, hard work and perseverance rewarded us with the most valuable of 3 pointers.

Whilst working out the kinks we have managed to take 3 points on the road in a football ground which a lot of teams will have trouble with this season mark my words. We played the black cats before they signed Cisse, which we all know he would have scored against us if it worked out that way.

We played a truly fantastic Boro team, really that performance by boro was impressive. They gave us a game. You can see why they have taken more points off the top 4 than any other team in the Lg, they go at the big teams and they go at them hard, even at one up they still were attacking. But we stuck in there, Rafa made a good call changing to 3 at the back, lady luck shone but you have to be having a go tyo reap the rewards of lady luck.

So 2 games and 2 wins. Torres and Keane showed some true glimpses of pure footballing magic. Make no mistake they have the potential and they should really become the most potent strike force since Cole and Yorke. Its slowly clicking and when it does completly ... forget about it ... we will murder teams .. much like Arsenal use to do a few seasons back.

By the time we play Manu at our Home Anfield in 2 games time if we beat them we could be 11 points ahead of them. Arsenal already droped the first loss of the season and its only game 2, they only lost 3 times in the entire season last year. Manu still looking toothless for me, Arsenal looking a little light wieght. Dare to dream folks ... YNWA

Whilst it is nice - it is only 2 games.

The team have plenty of time to frustrate us yet!

But........................if you can win when you play that badly then things are possible.

I think we should hold back the cheering till we see how the UTD match goes. We never beat them. If we WERE to beat them this time then yeah, I'd be dragging myself along the carpet with my legs spread like a happy dog.

            three points to make

            1. - playing ****e

            2. - 6 points and top of the league

            3. - who gives a **** about point 1
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Yes, it's nice to be 5 points ahead of the Scum and 3 points clear of Chelsea already

Our next two games are Villa away and Man Utd at home.

Four points is the minimum we should be happy with after those two.

although it is important for any title challenging team to grind out a win when you are not playing at your best, lets us be realistic and say it was only Sunderland away and Boro at home... if we were playing the likes of Everton, Villa, Blackburn away then it might be a different story....

if we beat villa next week, then it would be a great start. Also, i feel that in recent years, we seemed to have played united needing to get a win. We have battered them off the park on occasions only for them to get a sneaky john o shea goal on the break. If we are ahead of them big style in the league (ie: if we beat villa next week) then they will have to come to anfield and attack us. Which could suit us perfectly as we will catch them on the break.... If we win our next 2 games, then i feel that we can really build up a head of steam and push on with a handful of straight wins....

8 games to go and we'll know imo if we've move forward enough.

indeed, I think we were top of the league with a game in hand when we battered Derby at the start of sept last year and look what happened to us.
Whilst it is always nice to top the league, I'd be a lot more happier if we were top of the league at the end of the season.

I cant believe some so called "supporters" - they live in a fantasy land and only started supporting us I imagine back when we were winning everything.

All this bitching when we have two wins and like other great sides , have won whilst playing badly .

Lets not forget we have masch . babel , lucas coming back. three very good players.

lets not forget that utd drew with newcastle , arsenal lost to fulham - these are results to worry about , not two wins .

And to the idiot that cant work out where keane fits into a 4231 - doh
Also rumours are that we only paid 14 mil for keane - thats essentially crouch plus 4 mil for keane - good deal , no?

Rafa is a genius , we have great strikers , great mids , great d , a great keeper and **** owners .

SUPPORT THE TEAM AND THE BOSS or DO ONE
