I think we should hold back the cheering till we see how the UTD match goes. We never beat them. If we WERE to beat them this time then yeah, I'd be dragging myself along the carpet with my legs spread like a happy dog.

Well it's great if we beat our competition the first time up but it's no good if we lose on the way back. Let's hope for the double over the Scum, 4 points against the Chavs and 3 points against the Arse.

Here we are start of October and still top of the Table, having beat Man United, beat Everton, Top of our Champions Lg groups, Winning is becoming a fantastic habit and more importantly we don't know when we are beaten, I think thats 4 times now we have come from behind to win. Torres is scoring freely, Keane is on the score sheet, Kuyt is coming up with those big important goals, Alonso is rising from the ashes

I agree mate. As soon as the club or players or even us fans start talking up our chances, people try harder to knock us off our perch. Best leave our football do the talking

Spot on mate, every game has to earnt and we have to go out to beat everybody regardless, keep our heads, keep them down and one game at a time. Let the other teams worry about each other we just got to win our games, simple as that and I think our players get that.

Indeed. It seems that every week we are playing the biggest test of our credentials. It will certainly be the case next weekend.

If his thread is still alive next Monday then we will all have reason to be cheerfull.
