no we are just that dire, we have no idea how to attack teams, its so plain to see yet everyone just seems to accept it.
imagine if gerrard and torres were injured together at the same time, no ****er is going to save rafa then.

i have to say i have lost complete faith in rafa now. there are no signs despite huge amounts of money spent that any improvement is being made.Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostThink Rafa has caught the Houllier curse off Sammy Lee
i'd say we are going backwards, its time for change.

I wondered when you'd come out of the woodwork. I thought you might do the decent thing and keep it until the end of the game.Originally posted by Rashid View PostOur attacking play is clueless, alehouse to be precise. We have a £40M strike force, one probably worth about £70m....and we still haven't scored. There is a terrible misuse of the players.
I have been banging on about it for years, we have to improve the quality of our football and stop relying on magic moments to win games. Our passing, movement, pattern of play is sunday league.
We need to do better.
Not sure what Sunday League and Alehouse football you have been watching but it doesn't resemble what we are watching so stop being so dramatic.
Stop and think for a second Rash, Standard Liege are actually a better side and are containing us really well. We are trying to play wide instead and making a ****ing hash of it.
We have the rest of the game so let's watch first and moan later,Winning an argument on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win you are still a retard!

Let's not blame Sammy Lee, he has been here 10 minutes but I get what you are saying. The reason why Sammy is here though is because Rafa shares the same philosophies. We needed a wide player in 2004 and after £50m spent buying, we still don't have a decent one in the side. Samir Nasri scored again tonight, that's 2 goals already, he isn't a winger but a top class wide player - he only cost £11m. They don't always cost £50m you know.
But it isn't just about the players, it's also about the instructions they are given. Our style of play is probably the worst of all top teams in Europe.

I play Sunday League and it's not that but I have seen players in my league with more skill than Kuyt! I am astonished a team costing this much money can't pass and move. Liege are a good side but that doesn't excuse why we can't pass it and have a pattern of play that isn't clueless.Originally posted by Gazmo1 View PostI wondered when you'd come out of the woodwork. I thought that was a move backwards myself. We do seem to be lacking any idea moving forward. The problem is that we're up against a very young and talented team here, well organised and full of energy. They're technically good, all very athletic big lumps with a lot to prove. As they game goes on their confidence will go up more than it already is.Originally posted by liverpooltj View PostThink Rafa has caught the Houllier curse off Sammy Lee
Too many mediocre players in our squad and if we ever lose Torres or Gerrard for any length of time you can kiss goodbye to any league hopes that we have.
I have to say it, at this moment in time, they look the better side and more likely to go through.
"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."
I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."
