If it's true and they announce that the stadium is off, it will be so very very embarrassing....for us.

Is it just a coincidence that the Bitters have done similar..? If this is true and we follow suit then a dirty plan could be afoot me thinks.

A giant marquee sounds ****ing ace. We could just have a policy of bring your own deckchairs and get settled where you can. Noone could say we didn't have a unique stadium then.

Don't be, if it's true then it only hastens the demise of G&H, as their business plan hinged on the new stadium. So if the rumour is true, then they go and someone else (DIC?) come in and a new stadium gets built anyway, and if the rumour is false, the stadium gets built...it's a win-win situation really.

So after a really quiet finish to last season, and a really quiet pre season, when none of the games mattered, suddenley just as it all starts to count we hear this news and all start protesting again!

                  For ****s Sake!

Some story about Amanda Staveley and her company buying something taken from today from some finance reporter in the Daily Mail.

Staveley's PCP Partners is also Sheik Maktoum's adviser on his known interest in acquiring Liverpool Football Club, which last night faced a tricky European Champions League qualifier against Belgium's Standard Liege. Co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett face an onerous task of balancing the books and failure to progress in the Champions League would be a financial disaster. Rumours suggest that plans to build a new stadium have already been shelved.

Seems the rumour is doing the rounds in the City as well

So Rafa had planned to go out of the competition and Dirk went and bloody spoiled it!

                        Anymore news on this?

I've always had my doubts about the Americans seeing this through and the slow progress of things has been worrying me, so I had a feeling something dodgy was going on
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
