It will be yes, should be plenty of news on what's happening emerging over the next few weeks. Obviously the 2 ****s will have their PR company working overtime, attempting to make the stadium decision seem logical to anyone who's gullible enough to listen.

      What a mess we're in.

We need rid of Dumb and Dumber
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The day that happens will be a momentous occasion for the club, a historic event no doubt, and if the club was to pass to an owner with values, honour, and lots and lots and lots of spends, all the better.

I do think Moores thought Dumb & Dumber were going to be in the best interests of the club long term. I seem to recall that DIC's exit strategy became public knowledge where they would get out in 7 years at a profit. I suspect Moores, not really being a competent businessman, was spooked by this. The Americans talked the talk that he wanted to hear at the time. The fact it made him wealthier would have been incidental and if he had felt DIC's offer was the best for the club I'm sure he'd have gone for it. Pity Moores didn't have enough confidence in CoCo as Chief Executive to go with a recommendation to go for the DIC deal, if indeed this was what Coco recommended.

Parry was avoiding Dubai like the plague so i very much doubt he told Moores to go with them.

This is a press release from DIC at the time of the alleged 7 year exit plan.

Dubai International Capital, the investment company behind the proposed takeover of Liverpool, insist they have a long-term strategy in place for the club including significant funds for new players.

The company have responded to reports in today's Daily Telegraph that they plan to sell the club in 2014 having first made a huge profit from what the newspaper described as 'purely a business deal'.

A DIC source tonight sought to assure Liverpool fans that were the takeover to be concluded there would be 'the best possible' financial support for boss Rafael Benitez.

They said: 'What DIC is doing is planning to make sure that, if a deal is done, Liverpool has the best possible funding in place going forward under DIC stewardship.

'This is particularly important as we would need to get on with the stadium early in 2007 and it takes time to sort out the necessary financing.

'This is also important in terms of making sure cash is available for the ongoing strengthening of the playing squad.

'Should DIC acquire the club, Liverpool will be well run, both on and off the pitch, and we are currently laying the groundwork to ensure that will be the case.'

But DIC officials have pointed out they are yet to successfully conclude their takeover of the club and that, as a result, talk of plans to sell it off for profit are premature.

The source added: 'DIC has not yet formally made an offer, never mind completed a deal. Certainly there are no plans to exit an acquisition we have not even bought yet.

'It (DIC) is a very serious investor with considerable resources at its disposal and the ability to take a long-term view.

'Equally, we believe that we understand the responsibilities that come with owning Liverpool Football Club.

'DIC has made it clear that, should a deal be concluded, it would not interfere in the day-to-day running of the club.'

Parry was avoiding Dubai because they wanted to replace him with David Dein. Moores was ****ting it because ITV put pressure on him about listening to the higher figure... what Moores didn't realise was that he could still sell to Dubai under the exclusivity agreement - he dithered and ****ed up. He could also have told DIC what was happening and they would have made a decision, instead he refused to take their calls like the dickhead that he is.

I'm not sure, as you say..Idiots, that's what they are/were...but H&G were much more calculating in their treachery. I don't know what to think, it's all been such a huge let down since the day it started.

I remember my excitement when it was announced DIC were to buy the club, i was saying things like "well done to Moores and Parry, they've taken stick for taking so long to find buyers but this shows they were RIGHT!!."

I really thought we would be going places, signing the worlds best players, the lot, not as reckless as the Chelsea spending, but compared to what we were used to in recent history, a big big increase in the quality soon to be affordable to us.

Even when the news broke that Gillette had brought in a partner, and that their bid was accepted, i looked immediately at the positives, well i made up some positives i should say, the main one being that, for Moores to now go with Gillette and his mate then his mate MUST!..MUST!!! be a giant in financial terms, an equal to the Sheik and the like.

Well....how ****in wrong was i. It's all been one massive let down and worse, not only have they failed miserably so far on the financial side, and the main reason for the club being sold... to have owners rich enough to take us forward and build a stadium.

But they have time and again embarrassed the club..and the fans, leaving us ALL open to childish jibes on the state of this GREAT club, and the direction in which it is heading.

Lets hope we are rid of them as soon as is possible, so we can all move on and get this club back to talking only about football, and footballing matters advantageous to LFC.

What would some of you say if DIC came in and gave Rafa one year to challenge for the year or face the sack?

Providing he was given a few quid. Yes.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

I am not sure Rafa is much safer under DIC than he was under the Americans from what I know.

We should worry about that when or if DIC buy us, the current situation can't continue as it is.

So what's to worry about then, if he's only a little safer under Dic that's fine, better than being a little less safe under H&G.

Add to that the club being run correctly and we're better off by miles.

That's Rash's fault, he had to bring up Rafa getting the sack.............
