At the end of the day they made a terrible decision but after all the bull**** and lies the yanks promised who can say they wouldnt have made the same decision? Its ****ing easy to criticize others decisions when the hardest thing you have to decide each and every day is whether to give that fit bird extra fries.

Someone tell you I work in McDonalds?

It's not ****. It's Moores' fault. If DIC took over he would not have been able to stick around and neither would Parry. So he sells to the Yanks who had no money just hot air and made an extra £8m to boot and got made Honorary President. It doesn't look good does it?

Did him and Parry not google Hicks before they sold LFC to him? It's not hard to find out what a **** up he is previously in football.

To me and a lot of other fans it is Moores and Parry's fault. I hope if and when these Yanks go that Moores and Parry go as well

Thommo top man - well said. It's time for DIC to try again publically.

Thommo should have slated them some more. Charlie Nicholas is a cock at the end when he says we nor Everton play decent football anyway so it doesn't matter about the pitch if we groundshare. What a ****ing cock. We may not play like Arsenal, but at least we won something more recently than them

I wouldn't need to speak to either DIC or the Yanks to decide on who to pick. 10 seconds on Google tells me Hicks ****ed up Corinthians and then ran away, he is hated at Dallas Stars and their is a pressure group to get him out, niether of them have had much success on the pitch these past 10 years and both have leverage buy out history. And that's before we get into DIC - these two cunts should have been rejected on them being cunts alone. Moores should have kept it himself than sell to them - he could have used the "fit and proper" rule given their backhrounds.

          No excuse mate.

Just listening to Talksport, and the latest they've heard is that the new stadium is canceled not postponed.
They'll be a discussion on Groundshare at the bitters EGM on wednesday. And to prove we haven't got a pot to piss in one of the Talksport reporters saw Coco on the Easy Jet Flight returning from the CL draw.

Loads use EasJet as that comes into Speke from certain cities - Fernando Torres uses it a lot so that's bollocks.

As for it being cancelled, well it is for as long as these two are here.

im just saying with hindsight its very easy to criticize, i remember full well that loads of fans on here had huge reservations about the dic takeover, especially when the supposed 7 year exit came to light, why then should moores feel any differently?

2 years on we all know it was the wrong decision, but all blame is at the lying cheating unscrupulous yanks door.

i bet he's not the only one who's said it a 1000th time.

every fan i know, be it in the places i live or those i stand next to on match day hold parry and moores responsible for this mess.

and the fact that they personally benefited further from the yanks than dic says a lot to me.

but like everyone here, i also just want this mess to end. no point wasting energy on moores and parry now.

Agree with that, especially as it does seem that they could be the clubs only allies behind the scenes, hopefully in some small way playing a part in preventing the 'other' 2 clowns hurting the club beyond repair.

What a sad sorry state we have deteriorated into.

                          LIVERPOOL ON THE BRINK

Rafa is caught in the middle of the crisis

                          Sunday August 31,2008
                          By John Richardson

LIVERPOOL were facing a dangerous new ownership crisis last night over fears that the club’s new £350million stadium will never be built.

American co-owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks have announced a 12-month delay over the building of the 73,000 capacity venue in Stanley Park, next to their current Anfield home.

They insist it will be open in time for the 2012-13 season but there are doubts in the city that it will ever get off the ground.

Rogan Taylor, who founded the fans’ group ShareLiverpoolFC, aimed at raising funds to eventually buy the club, said: “This club is more vulnerable now than it has been in my entire 47 years of watching it. It is a house of cards and a puff of wind can blow it over.

“I am embarrassed by what is going on, certainly since the Americans’ take-over. This is about the owners breaking our trust over and over again.”

It is a major blow to manager Rafa Benitez, who wants a bigger stadium to bring in more revenue so he has more muscle in the transfer market.

Gillett and Hicks blame the credit crunch for the delay but it’s understood banks have refused to supply the funding because the Americans wouldn’t put up 25 per cent of the cost, up to £100m, themselves.

Now it’s believed there will be extra pressure on the pair, increasingly unpopular with Liverpool fans, to sell.

Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed is keen to buy but even he is becoming alarmed at likely rising costs for a delayed new stadium.

When the Americans bought Liverpool 18 months ago they promised work on the new stadium would start within 60 days.

                          YNWA!!!!

                                This is the EGM leaflet

"....due to these factors a very real possibility exists for a £500m 80,000 seat stadium to be delivered at no capital cost to either club, whereby the facility would be leased by both clubs and operated by a independent stadium operating company."

80,000 seats?! We could probably fill that on massive games, but Everton wouldn't have a hope! The word "groundshare" when said in relation to LFC sends shivers through me.
