Thanjk you.

I thought we controlled the game well albeit without a cutting edge in attack. Rafas tactics are working to an extent but not sure how we will get a goal.
id take a draw I guess but would be nice to see us go for it in the second half - def play Keane more central and bring Babel on the left. El Zhar would add some edge on the other flank too.
Mascherano is not an attacking player, and right now I'd take Barry and Reo-Coker over the current versions of Alonso and Lucas any day.
I'd disagree on all of those player for player comparisons (apart from Carew vs N'gog) but that's not the point. I would never have started with the eleven that Rafa did, and wouldn't have made the subsitution that he did.
The point I was making is that our tactical approach was totally negative from the start. If you genuinely think that the reason we couldn't attack Villa today and had to pick a defensive 4-5-1 with players out of position is because their midfield and attack is better player-for-player than Babel, Mascher, Alonso, Kuyt, Keane and Torres, all of whom were available for Rafa to pick today, then all I can say is that I couldn't disagree more.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

A fare is the fee paid by a traveler allowing him or her to make use of a public transport system: rail, bus, taxi, etc. In the case of air transport, the term airfare is often used.
Your earlier post:
" i guess we'll see how rafa's "superior" tactical approach to games fairs now that he has lost his two saviours."
Once again, it should be fares.
Bring in public transport, fuel costs, travellers, anything you want.
