I suspect this transfer window will end up becoming our history though
Things are going to be difficult from now on thats for sure. If we don't get proper investment and Citeh do break their way into the top 4 then a few seasons in the UEFA Cup could be a disaster.

Lets see what happens over the next few months though, I think its too early for Citeh to make the grade this season, but if we're stuck with G&H for a couple of years yet and the Dubai lot backup their promises, we will be fighting it out with the Gooners for 4th.

I tell you what too, UEFA have a real problem with the English and now the tables have turned and all the money is here, I can see them reducing our qualifying teams from 4 down to 3 sooner or later.

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

But i honestly think , unless we get a DIC type buyout in the next year or so , we will get left behind in the also rans , history doesnt count for **** when the playing field changes , we have been hanging on by our finger nails for the last 10 to 15 years , i think not only has the playing field changed , the whole game has just changed and we are in a position to be left behind.

I dont like it , its just how much things have changed over the last two decades.

The scum have changed with the times and reaped the benefits , chelsea won the lottery and now man c have won the mega lottery.......

We just didnt have the people running the club noticing what the game had become and where it was going.......

I mean Real Madrid wanted to keep Robihno but he left for Man Citeh! How quickly things change.

to be honest i meant that , in my humble opinion , our friends in UEFA loathe, and i mean loathe , the fact that english teams are starting to dominate in europe.

I honestly think if some unfortunate event occurred at a match they would be salivating at the chance of drumming us out of europe so 'proper' teams that should be winning (barca , milan , real etc) will start winning again.

2011.....man city v real madrid , champions league final ???? , just doesnt sound right does it ?.

( as if real will make another final.........)

el jef if it was us who were buying these players and putting in these silly bids most of us would be 'loving' it.

i'm actually chuffed to bits that chelsea have had a taste of their own medicine if anything imo having a team like city with money helps add balance to the premiership.

as for sentiment vs linguistics here ' i love my team but i'm no longer in love with rafa. i'm not like rashid with his thinly veiled attacks on rafa, for me this tactical genius would trip himself up after tying his own shoe laces. a spade is a spade - rafa has got us all bought into the emperors new clothes, well i for one see past this now. rafa is like having an affair, after a while you think what the **** you saw in em in the first place.

we are in trouble... we may only be a couple players short, but come next season or even Jan it will be a different ball game... guys we could become Leeds utd. on the other hand the man city buy out could force G&H to rethink their long term plan, as the risk factor is greater in terms of LFC not making CL. They need that money ever season, this could force them to rethink about DIC. watch this space...

10 games. There weren't too many complaints after we went to 4231, when we scored more goals than any other EPL team. Give him a chance to get the new boys settled in. To tweak the playing style to emphasize the width coming from the FBs. To work out how exactly to incorporate Keane and SG into the forward line. Then judge.

I just don't think what you are seeing now is the level of this team and that's understandable given the pre and early season dynamics.
