£200 of premium bonds indeed. Maybe if we send that link to Hicks, he'll enter the competition.

Wow, how elated and sad does that make me feel.

**** we were good back then, oh my god. Also, how much must Forest have hated us?!

Beardsley, £1.9m - british record transfer fee

All this talk about us being victims of the new money in football is getting tiresome. It's hypocritical, if we had the money we'd be revelling in it. When we had the money we revelled in it

The 'pass and move' football should be the compulsory blueprint for all Liverpool Managers. It is the only way this club should play, win or lose IMO.

Barnes was out of this world.

Compare him to what we have out wide at the moment and it's not hard to see why we're nowhere near that football.

He was the best of his generation. An amazing player who should have won far more, and would have won far more if the European ban was not in place.

Yeah but didn't we earn the money back then as opposed to being handed to us by some rich sugar daddy?
