I'd start him. Babel hasn't done enough to earn a start IMO and still his best performances come from the bench. Riera's mere presence will give us so much more width. Although I was totally and utterly nonplussed by his performances for City, the one thing he always offered was natural width. A bit of a line-hugger.

balague seems to love this guy and reckons he's the best left winger in europe when he's on form.

the epl is not the place for shrinking violets and im not sure he's going to get the arm round the shoulder softly softly approach that he seems to like.
