This site has gone to the dogs in the past 6 months because of people like you. I'm all for free speech but every other thread on this site has some **** tard complaining about either the manager or a player they don't like. Cold hard facts are we are 3 games in to a new season we've won 2 and drew one and are 2nd in the league I mean at least give it until crimbo before you or any other cock sucker fancy having a pop at anything.

It's a ****ing disgrace IMO, you lot call yourselves fans and all you do is moan, moan ****ing moan. You lot will never be ****ing happy - even if we win the league you'll complain about something or other a bunch of dickturds the lot of you.

But then you've got to ask the question why we play with Yossi and Kuyt out on the wings? If Rafa was after playing this kind of formation why did he spend his summer going after Gareth Barry?

It's something I don't understand. Since he's been here we've needed natural wide players and we are still playing a central player out on the wing and a striker on the other wing

People can't use money that other clubs spend as an excuse. It doesn't have to be £20m wingers we sign. It should be natural wide players. Our game would benefit rather than having two people out wide who constantly come into the middle of the park where we have three other people playing

      It's bad tactics for me

But Reira was a fall back option though. I'm hoping he'll do really well and offer the width on one side

            What about the right wing?

He's played El Zhar out wide in the 3 games this season, this fact seems conveniently forgotten and he's just secured the services of another natural winger in Riera.

So what's the problem? I don't get it.

As for chasing Barry, well I thought the plan was Barry, Keane and Gerrard behind Torres with wingbacks providing the natural eidth. But that was just my summation.

El Zhar started 3 games this season? They were sub appearance for not many minutes from what I remember

Not sure on your summation on the formation to be honest or how effective it would have been

Reira is a step in the right direction and hopefully he'll be good

Yeah sub appearances, but it still illustrates that Rafa is not averse to playing players out wide if the situation demands it.

you know we are looking to play with overlapping fullbacks right? rafa has said so himself. he says this because there are too few traditional wingers around nowadays and those that are, are unobtainable.

so if we do have overlapping fullbacks, what do you want the attacking midfielder - lets say left side - to do? get in his way as he's a touchline hugging winger? or would you rather he had proven abilities at coming inside a bit and be able to track back to cover the marauding fullback?

This is gareth barry to a tee. then add in that he hasa english and england experience and is a naturally left footed set piece taker and i can' see how, on multiple fronts, he won't improve our current first 11. yes it makes alonso redundant - or at least puts him up as the best option to recoup a decent fee - but thats life.

                      whats bad for that?

to date not one of rafa's 'cheap' signings has worked out hence why some posters are comparing many of our players as only slight improvements to the one's houllier had.

this is particularly the case in the attacking positions. players like lucas, garcia, pennant, yossi, voronin, gonzales, kuyt, morientes, nunez have all failed to make the impact we hoped. the jury is still out on babel and i don't know of many people who have high hopes for riera.

What like Agger, Skrtel, Momo etc.

I think most of his signings have worked out in terms of providing a general sustained improvement in the squad.

He's not averse to it? Last 10 or 15 mins of a game shows that playing with natural width isn't something he likes doing

Do you think Rafa has made any mistakes?

Do you think he made any mistakes against Villa last week?
