Some scum fan I know phoned me up when scum went 1-0 up to have a dig and was on about how we were going to get battered.

Oddly enough he's no answering his phone now

first time i have ever seen the boss lose the plot was when tevez scored.

i was at the counter dealing with a few customers - he was only bout 30 feet away glued to the tv..

"you little ugly ******* tevez" - "one nil bobby, that we ****er from argentina, **** sakes"

the people in the shop were stunned to say the least. very funny
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Great result, positive formation and line up today. Thats more like it.

              Well done Rafa.

Have to say though that the first half was poor, we couldn't keep the ball and only passed sideways or backwards. I'm still not convinced by Skyrtel, Kuyt whilst working hard and setting up Babels goal, really should've put the ball in the net on 2 occassions.

Riera looks the real deal, amazing debut. Babel did very well when he came on, I still think he has a lot to offer on the wing. Mascher worked relentlessly and Alonso had a very tidy game.

It amazes me how they couldn't string two passes together in the first half but in the second Manure couldn't get close. Thats football I suppose.

Brilliant day, give them the lead to get their hopes up and then tear them apart.

Time for a few cold ones.

Oh yeah, **** you Alex Ferguson you whiney whiskey nose ****.

Buzzing. Rafa and the players did the club proud.

                Lets keep it going...

Excellent performance. In the past everyone would wait for either Torres or Gerrard to do something. I think everyone put there hand up today and put on a good performance. Loved Kuyt. He's going to be a handful for the opposition this year.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Rafa totally outsmarted Slur Alex tactically today. They had NO width at all and we had it in abundance.

Rooney on the wing in a 442 ?
                    Anderson? Who?

After this game Alonso has become a more precious player for us.

Sell him to Arsenal my arse!

I wondered if Ferguson played narrow hoping to counter us.

It's funny how pundits barely mentioned Scum's lack of width and playing of players out of position, where as they go on a 5min+ rant about it when we do the same

Some very neat touches from Riera. We actually looked more effective on the left than i've seen in years. Early days yet for the fella, but didnt look out of place at all. Did anyone get the gist of what went on between him and Gerrard when he was subbed?

What i loved was the players fight today. Ok its our biggest game of the season and every player should naturally be fired up for it but after United scored every man in a red shirt fought like ****. Harrassed and pressed the opposition, every single one of them. Even Riera on his debut was bang at it. Players like Arbeloa, Aurelio and Alonso who have been accussed of being a little tame in the past were flying into tackles left, right and centre.
There seemed to be a real togetherness amongst the team and what made it a really great day all round was we played most of the match without Gerrard and Torres(nothing against them, it's just the media make us out to be a two man team).
                              Over the moon.
