So happy! And now I made it back home, got the young'uns into bed and I get to sit back with a beer or three and watch the recording. Had to listen earlier, this will make a good evening.

What a win. Rafa got it right today and we were in their face and never stopped.
We should have won by more but 3points is the main thing. Some feeling.
Big game next week for them now!Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful
everyone wants to know

Any comment on the manager?Originally posted by Rashid View PostI didn't think we needed full backs this summer, I was saying all summer than that Arbeloa and Finnan, and Aurelio and Insua can cover for us this year. I said we should buy two wingers and just leave it at that. You saw today what a decent winger can bring to the team, you saw today that when the team is positive how good the full backs can look - just imagine if we had a proper winger on the right too?
We won today because we had options out wide and the full backs attacked whenever they could - it was superb.

**** off Tevez, your going down

Bring it on
I just love how hurt all the mancs are. Its their turn to feel the hurt. Their luck has ran out and their 1 man show couldn't save them today. All the Mancs i know are distraught because they know that they were outplayed today and they can't deny it. We never had our 2 big stars and yet we still dominated them. ****ing Love it!!

Had to laugh at Andy Gray. For **** knows how long experts have moaned about our lack of with and our wide players always comin inside.Today Reira gave us genuine width and Gray had a moan that he needs to come inside more!
Big Kudos to Rafa today for the style of our play.Maybe the early goal was a reason for it but when it was 1-1 he made attacking substitutions and was even bringing Ngog on before Masher got injured.Last season we may have shut up shop to try hold the point.
More of that please Rafa, excellent debut from Reira and top marks to all the players.Great day.
onwards and upwards.

He did great today, I knew as soon as he realised a genuine wide player, players in their position would be a good start coupled with the right mentality. As soon as we lose one of those variables, usually due to his caution, then the **** will hit the fan. He did everything perfect today.Originally posted by Johnny View PostAny comment on the manager?

great to see riera have an impressive debut today. hopefully he'll play alot of games this year. keane should have had at leats a couple of games today and hopefully when he knocks in his first the goals will just flow. torres fit and on top of his game could have hit a couple of goals when the spaces starting appearing had he played. kyut was ( deep breath ) immense today. he will always play as rafa rates him so highly. benni had a decent game but i'd prefer to see him play as a second striker coming on as a sub. babel looked better today. i really am expecting big things from him this year. a piece of magic from him against vidic right on the bye-line was brilliant to see.....ripped the bald headed cunt a peach. gerard hopefully fully fit now will start to hit his form again. alonso really has upped his game since summer. his tackles have more meat to them. he goes looking for the ball more often and his passing is sublime. masher ( ****ing legend ) was awesome again. he ran everything down, tackled everyone, passed simply and was just a beast on the pitch. if we can keep them all happy and fit and playing like they did today then **** me we can do something this year!People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Orginally posted by Paul Shirley at facebook liverpool FC network.. jus have to agree with him
After the todays display I think we as fans, need to be behind our team, our manager and each individual player that is on the pitch 100% at all times, not just when we win.
Today wasn't just about pride or 3points, it was more than that. Its about belief now, we played the champions of europe & epl champions (hurt me to say that) off the park, without Torres featuring what so ever & 30mins wiith our talisman Stevie G.
I'm not gonna start saying thats it, we are gonna win the league after todays result, but it doe's plant a seed of real hope of a sustained challenage for once. I for one was absolutely delighted to see 100% commitment from all our players, I could handle the odd lost or draw now and again, if we could show that commitment in every game. With Torres n Gerrard still to return to full fitness, that form must surely be sustainable.
The players wanted to win today and it showed hence our performance on the pitch. Lets all hope that today our season starts and we stay where we belong....At the top YNWAYou'll Never Walk Alone

He made us feared across the Continent and took us closer to the Premier League Title than anyone since King Kenny. He became one of us and fought on our behalf. Rafa "got" LFC. For me he will forever be a legend. I'd have him back in a heartbeat. YNWA Rafa.
