great game. about time. really delighted for captain carra.

in all honesty our performance against them yesterday was very similar to anfield last year and the year before. hard work over flair. this time the only difference was that we got a bit of luck. how kuyt missed them two chances i'll never know, keane miss kicked twice when in good positions and vidic not getting sent off - referee bottled it.

aurelio and riera overlapped really well. ets hope we can keep it going against stoke.

        It's funny because it's true.

Anderson and Scholes got schooled yesterday.

Hargreaves you £20 mill piece of ****ing ****e, go get ****ed and take your crooked knee too. Class players take the game by the scruff of the neck. What the **** have you done Owen since coming on? Are we better defensively? NO.

It's not so much that Gerrard is too much of an individual as I think he does work hard for the team. The problem for me is that he lacks patience and wants to be involved all the time - not fully realising that you can be involved in the game by your movement off the ball.

I think there's a lot of truth to that. It's about discipline.

Stevie G will always be a hero, but it was great to see the team playing well without him yesterday. It's reassuring.

I really thought that Anderson could be a force yesterday, Maybe ferguson brought him back to early to the first team after the olympics? and he was tired?

many of you wanted masher in straight away......another Rafa masterstroke

Gray was an absolute joke again. Just as we are in complete control of the game, dominating in every department, Gray is repeatedly asking if Rafa will reorganise the whole team to make a double substitution and bring on two injured players?

If things somehow didn’t go our way, how many muppets would we have had to listen to today jumping on the Andy Gray bandwagon claiming Rafa doesn’t understand the English game because he didn’t use Gerrard and Torres when he should have?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

At least 3, likely 4-5 proper ones.
