I will always blame Moores and Parry.

A point would have been ok. 3 points is all we needed, we rarely stepped out of 2nd gear, did what was needed and got the result.

I hate these 'fans' of ours who complain about our style of play when we go away from home and beat a good team.

FFS when you are away from home in the Champions League you are not expected to walk all over teams !!! Its about getting the result despite the circumstances and that is what we do. Stop being so ****ing negative and having such ridiculously high expectations.

We went away from home against a decent attacking team and we beat them. Smile ffs

I can't be bothered reading the whole thread, especially looking at a few comments on this page. I just wanted to see if anyone else noticed how tiny that Valbuena for Marseille is. He is very wee indeed. Almost too wee.

I actually thought during the game tonight that if Cheyrou had joined this Liverpool side, rather than dysfunctional mob he actually joined, he might shine. There's no doubt he was a gifted footballer - he was just crippled by a total lack of confidence. Didn't have the mental fortitude required to play for us.

                It's a different Cheyrou Shaggy.

Is that Franck Quidrue next to him?
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

after saturday, any win will do.

Plus Babel hit the post and forced a great save. 3 pts away.

I enjoyed tonight, good game of football. We didn't close it out well, and looked a little exposed at the back once or twice, but that was an excellent result against a team who are better than they were last year, and came right after an excellent performance against ManYoo. Some good performances, some less good ones, and some tired ones in the second half, but we got the result and ultimately that's all that matters. Happy days
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                        Mine angry and defrauded young?

Basically says "happy with the win but apart from the back 5 we weren't good enough in possession"
