Thanjk you.

That's just wrong. Watch the highlights and you'll even see Keane missing one (just having a laugh)
If anything should be slaughtered, it's the corners. I don't think Chelsea, Arsenal or scum is any better at them than us, BUT we seem to generate more of them.
So, it's only natural that we try to exploit them. But we don't. Would think that Mr.Lee picked up a few pointers while with Allerdyce at Bolton?
how many gilt edge chances did we have? How many times did we open them up? We have never really opened teams up under rafa or walked the ball into the net.... stoke were always comfortable.
I think we need to get away from the arguments of what players deserve to be in the team, and who should be signed or not and start questionning the way the players are trained, our pattern of play, creativity and ability to open up teams - nothing has changed in those terms in the last 4 years despite £200m spent - it is a coaching thing that we can't break down teams.
PoolG this thread is a about Rafa's tactics - are you suggesting he is flawless and that we should only discuss positives? What a weirdo.
This may sound ridiculous but if our pitch was bigger we would've battered them imo
Actually a very sensible comment, I went on the stadium tour with my boy a couple of weeks ago and they said the pitch is one of the smallest in the league (along with Fulham I think)
This makes it harder for us to break teams down when they come and just defend, an extra yard each side would make a massive amount of difference but we'll have to wait for the new stadium for that.............
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

come on, its not like we use the width that we already have

Sorry but you're talking out of your arsehole. Riera hugged the touchline until Dossena got forward who then hugged the touchline, and it was the same on the right as far as I could tell from my seat, Arbeloa definitely bombed on. A few extra yards could make the world of difference

i also think you're talking ****.
and the times i saw dossena and arbeloa overlap their crosses where mainly poor. i really don't think making our pitch wider will make any difference whatsoever with the way we play.
