Thanjk you.
Paul.S
just one of those days, Stoke had their gameplan and executed it perfectly. Well done to them.
Can't argue with that
If we had been offered leading the league, and being unbeaten, at this stage, before the start of the season, we would have all jumped on it like Indian train passengers

Problem is that if we carry on as we are, it wont just be today where we drop silly points at home. The reason that some of us get so narked is that we want to see the problems eradicated before our title bid DOES cave in.
It's no use having recriminations when it's too late.
Looking at our games this season, we're all looking at today and saying it's a one-off. But in reality, we were lucky and poor against Boro, poor and lucky at Sunderland, woeful and lucky against Liege and not great at Villa.
I love the way that ANYTHING remotely negative is instantly frowned upon and dismissed by most people.

Whatever way anyone tries to dress it up, drawing at home to Stoke is NOT positive and there's nothing positive about it. It wont be a one-off and these dropped points will cost us a title challenge, just like they have done for years.

u sure u ain't a wum, or a cunt or even a manc in disguise?
been thinking about the game a lot today, reminded me of so many games last year. and thats the problem. if it happens again to we'll all know its not a one off but rather same old.

Well anyone who says that "beating ManU means nothing" as the thread starter did, in any circumstances, deserves to be frowned upon in my book. Jeez, people on here really know how to over-react. Drawing with Stoke is a bit **** like, but these things happen in football, we've still had a comparitively good start to this league campaign in terms of results (if not really performances), and every season under Rafa we've improved our early form as the season progresses. Its not all roses, but its not all doom and gloom either.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
