        There'd be no point in watching football if the best team won every game.

        During the season teams will always get results you wont expect. When all's said and done it is the final table that matters.

        Of all the football sayings I find only one to be true. You can't win a league in the early months of a season, but you can cartainly lose it. So far, so good for us in that respect. But a win against Everton is pretty important after the draw with Stoke, for confidence if nothing else.

        I can guarantee that a win next weekend will have everyone thinking we will win the league again, and everyone will have forgotten about Stoke City.

          Well, we've got Everton and City both away. Prior to yesterday 4 points would've been good from those games, but after the Stoke game, we need to win at both Everton and City, to make up the two points dropped yesterday. Not ideal.

            True. But most people would have said that 4 points from Man Utd and Stoke would have been acceptable.
