The problem here is why did Kay feel the need to raise what happened on Saturday at his first available opportunity but not what happened in Moscow?

The problem here is why did Kay raise to this level at all, IMO. It's bull**** that it happens at all but raising it to this level will do more harm than good and therefore he should of kept quiet about all of it.

it's a shame - i kinda see elvoz's point - it's almost a last resort, it's an attempt of taking the piss in an ironic way but i do feel we may have stooped to low to get the point across - as the article says - no football chant should ever mention horrific tradgedies such as harold shipman, hilsborough, munich, heysel etc etc

at a football game some people think you should and can sing what you want

be it about coloured people sick chants about personal stuff and tragic events

i have to confess i have done probably all of the above , more so the cloured one due to being a little older than most on here and it was regularly done in "them days"

if we hadnt experiences the disasters we have i am personally not sure we would be so vocal about this.
it cuts through me to heat stuff about our tragic events and i feel quite ashamed of what i said before we had them

yet surely if we are allowing say the BNP to sing things that are very offensive and indeed allow terrorists to spread "their word" doesnt that mean we are picking and choosing ?

if people want to sing about this stuff imo it generalises their "fans" and its up to them to put a stop to it not us

Absolutely appalled about the United players singing that. In a way you can get over the fact their inbred, moronic, witless supporters sing it...you come to expect it from such pondlife, but the players themselves? FFS. I can imagine Neville, Giggs, Braap Braap and all the other cunts at it.

This whole episode is ****ing depressing. Like Oliver Kay I am tired of trying to explain to clueless Mancs (and to a lesser extent, Bitters) why their 'murderers' chant is so pitifully wide of the mark and out of order. I'm fed up of it and to a small degree it is affecting my enjoyment of the game/banter with rivals. I've even had one long friendship (with a Manc) go down the drain after it all boiled over.

Come on Shaggy, Gary Neville is alot of things but i dont think he'd be one to be at that, he's not that bad. Was he even on the pitch last may in moscow? im not no sure he was.
I really dont think Giggs would be at it either, he seems like a decent chap.

I said all of this earlier in the thread and got battered for it by Elvoz and Chris, Elvoz has softened his stance over the 2 pages but the fact that we as Liverpool fans who think ourselves to be 'different' or 'better' or 'above' the average football supporter thinks singing about anyone dying let alone horrific events that affected LFC and hiding behind 'irony' is frankly disgraceful imo.
