partly true, but i still reckon alot of people are just moaning because they think he's a cnut, and are not actually watching him play football

I'm not bashing Bellamy, just wouldn't be in my starting 11 at the moment, but I'm sure he'll find form, and then it might be a different story. He'd impressed me in his previous matches, untill today when he went very quiet, True he didn't have the service, but Kuyt went out trying to create stuff for himself, so thats why Kuyt and Crouch would get my vote.Originally posted by Rocketi don't agree with any of this bellamy bashing bull****.
apart from reminding myself how **** we were on match of the day, bellamy had a few nice moves down the left.
the exchanges with gerrard for his shot on goal were very nice.
i just think some of you people like moaning. last season, people moaned at cisse for being lazy, bellamy generally works pretty hard, and everyone is saying, yeh, cisse was lazy, but at least he got loads of goals.
for fcuk sake people, make up your minds.Thomas Hicks Senior

I like the fact he's a cnut. Watching the game with my mate today, I said to him "he's a right ****in' nark ain't he...I love it!". You don't mind it when he's on your side. So no...I want him to succeed just as much as you do mate.Originally posted by Rocketpartly true, but i still reckon alot of people are just moaning because they think he's a cnut, and are not actually watching him play football
It's nothing to do with him being a "cnut", he's just playing rubbish. Granted, he appears low on confidence and he's better than what he's shown so far, but he's not doing the business for us. End of.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

its not really bull**** to point out that the lad is not a goalscorer and never has been throughout his career. i don't think i'm bashing him to be fair. i personally would never have bought him. and i'm merely saying who my front two would be.Originally posted by Rocketi don't agree with any of this bellamy bashing bull****.

but nor have i compared him to cisse. if i had then he'd compare favourably because he puts the effort in and cisse didn't in my view.
but that doesn't make bellamy a good buy. personally i don't think he's LFC quality. i think on an internet forum that has to be fair comment surely?

isnt it only natural that when the team as a wholeplays ****, as they did yesterday, that a, people look for a scapegoat and b, its generally a front man.
every man and his dog can see bellamys confidence is shot, hes not striking the ball cleanly which is something that should be natural for him.its blackburn at home next for us, i wonder will rafa play him. i would.Parry is a clown. En Rafa que confiamos

Kuyt is a very good hard working player, a legend in his own country but not here yet. He is bringing a lot to the team, both with his work rate and his excellent link up play.
The problem I see at the moment is that all our strikers seem to be playing and looking for the ball from deep or wide positions and not in or around the box enough.
Kuyt and Crouchy often come back into midfield positions to link up, while Bellamy takes up a lot of wide positions.
Although I have to praise Kuyt for his tireless work commitment (I thought he overdid it against Gala and ruined his own game) I would like to see him play on the edge of the box and use his great movement and vision just for goals.
We have become a team of hard workers, unselfish and team players. All good qualities. But unless everybody chips in with goals from defence and midfield it becomes a problem and then the focus becomes on our "missfiring" strikers.
Another problem I see at the momment is after all the wide player problems being sorted Stevie is still being played there and so too is Garcia.
It was awesome seeing Stevie in the middle again against Gala, and all three of our goals came from wide play and from "wide players".
Let the wingers do their job, let Stevie do his job and then I'm sure Kuyt, Bellamy and Crouchy will do their job.
If that fails then pray to God, because Fowler will deliver.
CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP CLAPCLAPCLAPCLAP DALGLISH!

Nobody thinks Kuyt is a legend already, but id think most would say he has the potential to become one.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I think people are heaping praise on Kuyt simply because its been an age since we had a striker who was as lively as him.
Personally Id play Bellamy infront of Crouch as Crouch (apart from his goal t'other night) has been ****e this season, to weak in the tackle, gives away a free kick anytime he tries to win a header and hasnt realy put in the graft of last season.Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body.

Kuyt has played well. Pennant has had some nice moments but been slightly disappointing on the whole so far (he will come good IMO). Bellamy will get there, once he scores one he'll be chipping in with goals more regularly. IMO Crouch and Kuyt should be first choice at the moment, unless of course the opposition warrants something different.Like blood on iron
