We won 3-1 on a cold wet windy night when Psv gave us no fecking problem.
    Kuyt scored another deserved goal.
    Keane got his first.
    Gerrard scored his 100 th.

And the best you can do is "We were also very sloppy".
    Get a grip.
calm down chap, we were sloppy second half. We gave the ball away far too much. and a better team might have got back into it.

    No need for the hostility!

I think we got so sloppy due to how easy it was. If they had of came back at us I am sure we could have stepped up at least another 3 gears. The match was won and no point going full steam with City coming up at the weekend.

Isn't it wonderful how we play well and win and all the moany ****ers are nice and quiet.

Patience about the building process and a long term view pays off. Rafa knows how to build a great team. It takes time but he will get there. Keep up the progress Liverpool

            Job done.

Four points in the next two matches against Atletico and we can rest players for the last two games.

I don't really think there's much difference between finishing 1st or 2nd in the group.

would love to see us win the next 2 then give the reserves a run out.

pacheco and nemeth up top give them a taste of anfield on a european night

even being in the stadium is special - imagine being out there - might just give them that extra bit of hunger
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Are they both included in the champ league squad?

I thought some of our short, quick passing in the first half was excellent. Okay maybe we didn't penetrate as much as we could have done, but then they were playing very defensively. What did you make of it?

                          Why ?

Anyone can beat anyone in the last 16 and, as we've seen in the past, plenty of the 'better' sides end up finishing second.

Changes when you play your home leg. Win the group and you play your home leg second

Yeah it does and you're always gonna be a bit unsure in that respect, but the top sides will generally top their groups more often than not. If we top ours, i reckon there'll be 2 (at most) top sides who we'd end up possibly facing. If we dont top it, i think it'd be at least double that, possibly three times as many.

As i've just said, the majority of top teams will top their groups and thus, if we dont top ours, we're in line to meet one of them sooner than necessary.

Anyone can beat anyone of course, but i'd rather be facing someone like Porto or Bremen, than Madrid or Barcelona.

There's no country protection in the 2nd round, is there? So you can throw the mancs and chelsea into the mix of sides who'll probably win their group.
