Yeah it's a pity he is so lazy. Unlike Kuyt who doesn't ****ing stop, if he doesn't win the ball first time he just stands there. Yes he has ability and maybe when he matures he will be amazing but Kuyt is far more important for Liverpool right now.

I'm still not convinced that Babel is sure to mature as I think his problems are psychological. I would suggest it is more than just the amount of running Kuyt does but the intelligence of it. More than once this season he has made the room that Torres and others have used to score.

It's a shame but Babel lacks game intelligence as much as work rate at the minute. Overall the team benefits hugely from Kuyt being on the pitch at the minute in most games.

Unfortunately the one real downside is that Kuyt can't run from deep with the ball and lacks pace. In games like Stoke the lack of that in our team has cost us. I think it is those sort of games that Babel should be targeting to start and really have an impact on.
