i'm astonished that after 3 defeats in 7 we're only 2 wins off the top of the league. something to cling to at least.

It's not the order of fixtures that's bothered me in particular - because you have to play everyone home and away at some point - it's all the early Saturday kickoffs, there's been 4 already by my count, and yesterdays game came on the back of a midweek Wednesday match, that left the team less than 48 hours of recovery time. How many early Saturday kickoffs have the scum, arse and Chavs had combined?, not a one. ****ing outrageous.

Yeah, that's ridiculous. It just seems like every one of our fixtures has been a 12.45 kick off. It's a disgrace that after internationals and midweek European games we've gad to play early Saturday games while the others have been playing on Sundays etc. Our first Saturday 3pm Kick off of the season - OCtober 14th, 2 months in to the season. Pathetic

People blaming defeats on early kick offs or the fact we are playing team A or team B are clearly not thinking straight. If we are to win this league, we should be ready to play anyone at anytime. If we are good enough, we will win the games no matter if the kick off is 1pm or 3pm.

                  STOP MAKING DAFT EXCUSES!

theres definately something suss about it...but on the bright side we will have a good run home again...if we can stay in touch now we will still have a good chance to win it.

I don't think it's a daft excuse, we didn't have enough recovery time between games, simple as that. It would be a different story if we hadn't had a midweek match, and we still lost, but around 60 hours between matches isn't adequate.

Whilst our away fixtures in particular have been tough thats just the way it goes. The truth is away from home we've been very average. Only Chelsea was an acceptable performance for me. We've only scored 1 away from home & that was a dodgy penalty.
