That's an extremely selfish point of view IMO. Not everyone has a season ticket - there is a 10 year waiting list, so for some fans, including me, it's close to impossible to get tickets and when we do get one (like twice a season) we get treated like **** by narrow minded fools such as yourself.

How the hell do you expect clubs like ours to get a larger fanbase and thus earn more money if we can't attract additional supporters? I must point out I've never bought a ticket from a tout but I woudn't necessarily criticise anyone who would eitther, I know LFC supporters who have never been to a game and are rabid supporters who if given even one chance to see the men in red, it would make it for them for the rest of their lives.

Just becuase you're fortunate enough to go every week that does not give you the right to insult other supporters. You are not better than them in any way or form, if anythign they are better humans than you've demonstrated thus far.

And please show me where I stated that I am better then anyone, I know my place, I'm just an everyday reds fan passionate about his club. This sort of thing really annoys me, surely that is blatent ticket touting which is supposed to be illegal but these companies are free to advertise in newspapers and magazines etc and nothing is done about it, why?

I dont think powerpack is talking about people like us on here who struggle to get to games week in week out he's talking about the people who go to games just because they get the chance, not because they want to go and see liverpool in person. Absolutely mate, I can't get to every game so can't preach. I was at the scum game too shouted my lungs out. Guy behind me didn't know about 3 of the players in the starting line up. When it looked like Riera score he asked me who score, when I said Riera, he said who's he then, never heard of him!

What's stopping you from having a fancard, waking up at 7am on the day of sale and buying a ticket online for every home game?

I'm not having a go (and i agree with what you say about people who get to the games but dont really give a monkeys about footie), but i'm just curious as to why you 'cant' get tickets.

Yer no Probs craig mate, I do have a fancard. I also do get tickets for most matches, there are a few I miss out on usually the most popular games. I was lucky enough to get one for Istanbul but not Athens. What annoyed me was I knew some poeple were going to that game who had little no inteserst in footy and others who had never been to a match in there life, through touts and hospitality packages. I could have gone if I had £2k spare but I don't. And as you may have suspected I am pretty anti - tout so wouldn't usually take that option. PS I never said can't (1979 did) I said don't, there's a very subtle difference

Of course it does mate, i agree with your point about people who could be in any stadium in the world, and they wouldnt tell the difference.
