Those next 10 games look like one almighty challenge. I am more than happy to think about it one game at a time because Stoke away is going to be a war and we had better be ready for it!!

No we are 3 points clear because games in hand are not the same as points achieved.

Was Torres playing in those games?

Did Keane finally find his scoring boots?

Who was left back in those games, Insua or Dossena?

I agree that we should have beaten them regardless, but add the three parameters above to those games and tell me we wouldn't have gotten more points? One things for sure, in the next 10 games these parameters are very much going to be in play and I for one can't wait.

We are the form team in the top half of the table at the moment, if anything I'd rather have these games come along while we're in form rather than when we're struggling like manure and Chelsea currently are.

we win the next 10 we win the title. was it houllier who coined the phrase 10 games to greatness?

seriously though, stoke away whilst not easy is at a good time to play them.

Lots of ifs and buts. If my uncle had a fanny he'd be my aunt!

At the begining of the season we were talking about being within touching distance of the lead at the turn of the year, as being a good start to kick on from. We have comfortably bettered that. If, and it's a big IF, we can perform better in the second half of this season than the first (as we seem to have done in the past three seasons or so), Utd or Chelsea will have to put together a phenomenal sequence of results to beat us. If they should be able to manage that, then fair play, they'll deserve the title. If not, it's ours.

              Can't say fairer than that.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

Sounds about right to me mate.

We need to kick on like we have done for the last few seasons in the second half.

If we can do that then the title will be ours.

The next 10 games do look a bit tough but with a fit Torres and in-form Keane they all look winnable except Scum away but a draw there would be fine if we're still top.

We have the momentum and we have the lead plus we're as good as anyone from Jan onwards under Benitez.
