Only won 3 out of 6. Held at home by Mancs and then bottom-of-the-table Spurs and played off the park by Liverpool who won more comfortably than 1-0 suggests

We look like the real deal this season, seriously. With Riera giving us great balance on the left and Kuyt on fire we have extra weapons and our rivals are underestimating us.

Also, Mascherano & Agger are coming into form.

True. I expect us to win every game (possibly excluding Chelsea away where we always seem to get beat) but I am realistic enough to know that slip ups happen. They happen to all the big teams too. Its about keeping them to an absolute minimum.

I wouldnt be surprised to see us slip up in at least 3 of those 10 games and not take maximum points.

I'd say we will realistically take about 22 points from those games. That would put us on 39 points from 17 games and if we carried that form on through the rest of the season we would finish on 87 points. Title winning form

Beat Hull at home next week and we are still top going into the Arsenal game.

That would be great going considering our first realistic target was to still be in the race around Xmas time, let alone top! Also, without playing anywhere near our best form and losing Skrtel & Torres to injuries.

Looking just slightly ahead of Hull we have Arsenal away, Bolton at home then Newcastle away. Can see a loss, draw and win in that order: 4 points going into January. Manure will still be behind us but with games in hand and Chelsea may just overtake us by 3 or so points.

But then we enter our strongest phase with Torres returning and hopefully some surprise January signings (Owen, Heskey?).

hull at home is a huge game. they'll come to defend, but unlike sunderland yesterday at utd, hull will look to play on the counter. hope we can break them down, early. nil nil at the start of the 2nd half and we'll get more and more desperate as the pressure mounts.

a draw or win vs the arse will be just fine but as its away im thinking we will win it, hull we will win...just, and the same for bolton, i can see problems at newcastle to be honest...i just have a feeling the cunts wil nick it. Still 9/12 from tose will probably keep us top and we will have added another dent to the arse. Probably!
